Chateau Dumas is an extremely versatile venue which works equally well as a destination for family holidays, special occasion parties, workshops, weddings or photographic shoots. It has 12 bedrooms and can sleep up to 24 people although sometimes we can accommodate more people.
In the Summer months (June to September) the Chateau is available to rent on a weekly basis (Saturday-Saturday). At other times of the year there is a minimum 4 night stay. The Chateau is let on an exclusive basis including access to the pool and 22 acres of Estate and includes a daily maid service (except Sundays).
Prices vary according to the size of group. As a guide, prices start at €65 per person per night based on a minimum number depending on the time of year. In summer this minimum is usually 20 people. We accept payment in Euros by cheque, cash, bank transfer to our account in France or by credit card for which there is a 2% surcharge. We offer a 5% discount on second (or third) weeks booked by the same person. Please let us know the size of your group and we will be happy to tailor a quote accordingly.
If you're renting the Chateau for a private stay you may self-cater or ask us to provide catering at additional cost. We work regularly with a number of chefs and are able to provide the full range of catering from one-off special candlelit dinners to full catering with optional waitress service. Birthday cakes, picnics, etc, are also available to order. We are happy to provide a quote for catering.
When it comes to weddings, parties and other events such as photography shoots, you will find that we are experienced, efficient and very easy to work with. We are dedicated to making your event as successful and smooth-running as possible.
We are frequently asked to put together bespoke holidays for guests which we are more than happy to do. These groups have usually come together to celebrate a special occasion and may be of different ages and have differing needs.
This bespoke service often includes full catering, childcare and airport transfers as well as a number of individually chosen activities at the Chateau such as wine tastings, yoga and massage, live musical entertainment and organised games. Minibus trips out to vineyards, craft, antique and flea markets, local beauty spots and villages might also be among the activities. These events require time and care to organize for which we charge a modest additional fee. Please ask us for a quotation.
